We all have different priorities that come with costs. It could be a big home renovation, a long-time goal, or a special life event. For others, it might be an emergency like a car or home repair that wasn’t part of the plan. In times like these, paying the full amount can be tough. That’s why many people turn to loans, which often come with high interest.
To ease the financial burden of many Filipinos, Skyro, one of the country’s fastest-growing fintech companies, has introduced the Skyro Zero Plan, allowing customers to enjoy 0% interest for their loan.
With the Skyro Zero Plan, customers can pay off their loan within the first three (3) or six (6) installment period without any interest. This special window lets them settle the full amount and stay completely interest-free.
“The Skyro Zero Plan helps Filipinos manage their finances with more confidence by offering flexible and secure financing for important purchases. By giving customers the option to enjoy 0% interest and settle their balance early, we hope to make life’s big moments easier to handle without the pressure of added borrowing costs,” explained Dmitriy Vavulidi, Skyro’s Head of Product.
Skyro makes it more convenient for customers: Once the loan is approved, the Zero Plan is automatically included. Customers will see the details in their loan agreement which includes the terms of the Zero Plan.
To make the most of the Zero Plan, customers must pay their full loan within the Zero Period to enjoy 0% interest, which includes the full financed amount, the processing fee, and the Value-Added Services (VAS) total cost (if any, excluding Loan Protection and Flexi).
Customers can pay in full through the Skyro app or reach out to Customer Care for guidance on the exact amount and payment process. Notably, since the goal is to fully settle the loan early, the total amount due within the Zero Period may be higher than the regular monthly schedule because they are settling the full balance early, and not just following the regular monthly plan.
In case the customers fail to pay in full during the Zero Period, that’s okay. They can simply continue with their regular loan and pay interest as originally scheduled in their loan agreement. Their repayment schedule will stay the same, and interest will apply from the start of their loan, just like the regular Skyro product loan. The Zero Period also stays in place even if the customer adjusts their due date using Skyro Flexi. For instance, if the Zero Period originally ends on August 1 and the customer shifts their due date to August 16 via Flexi, the Zero Period will now also end on August 16.
With the Skyro Zero Plan, customers can confidently finance their essentials or finally get that dream item with the option to stay interest-free from the very start. It’s one more way Skyro makes financing simpler and more flexible for Filipinos.
