As a Senior Kotlin Backend Developer, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing services for scoring and fraud prevention. Your responsibilities will include:
Tech stack: Kotlin, Java, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Spring, Kubernetes, Grafana, Kibana
Core Development:
Build backend services using Kotlin (Spring or Micronaut) that drive scoring and anti-fraud systems.
Implement scoring rules, fraud prevention algorithms, and partner integrations.
Risk Analytics Tools:
Develop tools and platforms for analysts to rapidly test, deploy, and fine-tune scoring rules and strategies.
Improve analytics tools to provide deeper insights and actionable data.
Analyze historical data with SQL in data warehouse
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with business analysts to refine requirements and understand business logic.
Discuss architectural decisions with the team and analysts engineers and ensure robust implementation.
Maintain High Standards:
Participate in code reviews, optimize performance, and enhance the stability of production systems.
Continuously improve scalability and security of services to handle growing customer demands.
Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience.
Strong Kotlin skills (or solid Java experience with a willingness to transition to Kotlin).
Familiarity with GitLab CI, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration.
Spoken English B1+, you can lead a technical discussion
Fluent Russian
Nice to have:
experience with decision-making (e.g. DMN)
experience with process orchestration (e.g. BPMN).
