100,000+ Users and Growing: SkyroCredit Expands Access to Everyday Spending Across the Philippines

Everyday spending is driving the adoption of digital credit in the Philippines. More than 100,000 Filipinos already use SkyroCredit for purchases ranging from fast food and groceries to medicines and gas. Top merchants include Jollibee, McDonald's, DALI Supermarket, SM, Mercury Drug, Watsons, Petron, Shell, and Caltex.

With over 93,000 recorded transactions at Jollibee, 45,000 at DALI Supermarket, 32,000 at Mercury Drug, and over 33,000 across Petron, Shell, and Caltex, SkyroCredit is increasingly being used for routine spending, showing how consumers are turning to more flexible ways to pay.

Building on this growing adoption, Skyro, an SEC-registered fintech company, is now opening SkyroCredit to all eligible customers. Designed to bring together the convenience of digital payments and the flexibility of responsible credit, SkyroCredit is accepted anywhere QR Ph is available, allowing customers to shop now and pay later with 0% interest for up to 45 days.

Through SkyroCredit, customers may receive starting credit limits from ₱1,000 to ₱10,000, with the opportunity to grow their limit up to ₱100,000 through regular and responsible use. The product also rewards everyday transactions with 1% cashback for every ₱100 spent. Once cashback reaches ₱100, it can be used to pay for purchases through the Skyro app.

Customers can also choose how they repay their balance, whether by paying in full for the amount they have used or by making the minimum payment and paying the remaining balance over time.

Filipinos aged 18 and above can apply online through the SkyroCredit webpage at skyro.ph/skyrocredit, the Skyro app, or participating partner stores, including Home Along, Metro Retail, Prince Retail, LCC, Alson's Trading, and Willy & Sons. Applicants only need one valid government-issued ID, a smartphone, and an active Philippine mobile number.
