What you will do:
Product Law:
Provide legal support for the development, launch, and growth of fintech products (lending, card issuance, investment products).
Analyze product features to ensure compliance with financial services regulations and consumer protection laws.
Draft and review product documentation, including user agreements, offers, licensing agreements, and policies.
Adapt products to meet requirements of new jurisdictions (in the Asian region).
Collaborate with internal teams (product, development, compliance, marketing) on legal matters.
Support product updates due to regulatory changes and internal initiatives.
Contribute to the development of internal legal and regulatory processes.
Corporate Law:
Assist with a wide range of corporate matters including acquisitions, group structuring, and corporate governance.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of corporate and transactional documents, including articles of association, shareholder agreements, board minutes, SPAs.
Ensure corporate compliance and adherence to internal policies and regulations.
Coordinate with external advisors and regulators on corporate matters.
Provide practical legal advice to senior leadership and cross-functional teams on corporate initiatives
What you should have:
Law degree from a recognized university, a Master’s degree is a plus.
At least 5 years of overall legal experience, including a minimum of 2 years in fintech, banking, or
microfinance.
Written and spoken English at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.
Understanding of credit product regulation, financial services law, and corporate law.
Ability to work under uncertainty and adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
Strong communication skills with non-legal teams, business-oriented mindset.
Attention to detail, independence, and systematic thinking.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with international markets and multiple jurisdictions.
Knowledge of financial services regulations and professional experience in the Asian region.
Experience in fast-growing startups or scalable products
