Responsibilities:

  • System Administration

    • Gather, analyze, and validate technical requirements; prepare detailed project and system documentation.

    • Provide technical support to on-site and remote team members, resolving issues promptly and escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams.

    • Monitor systems to identify and resolve technical incidents, maintaining uptime and performance SLAs.

    • Participate in service updates, system upgrades, and project-related tasks to maintain smooth operations.

    • Stay current with emerging telephony technologies and apply them to improve system operations.

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the deployment of new applications or services.

  • Telephony & SIM Box Infrastructure

    • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain SIM box hardware and software platforms for voice and SMS traffic routing.

    • Manage VoIP infrastructure including SIP trunks, PBX systems (e.g., Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, Kamailio), and media gateways.

    • Configure and optimize GSM gateways, SIM banks, and SIM rotation policies for multi-operator environments.

    • Implement CLI/ANI management, DID number provisioning, and inbound/outbound call routing logic.

    • Monitor call quality metrics (ASR, ACD, NER, PDD) and proactively address degradation or fraud indicators.

    • Maintain and audit SIM card inventories across markets; manage SIM lifecycle from provisioning to retirement.

    • Troubleshoot call drops, SIP signaling failures, codec mismatches, and latency issues across the call path.

    • Ensure compliance with local telecom regulations across operating markets (PH, SA, KE, UAE, BH, MY).

  • Microsoft Azure & Active Directory

    • Manage Azure and Active Directory services including user account creation, role assignment, and permission configuration.

    • Set up and manage email accounts for new users, ensuring proper integration with Microsoft Exchange.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure, Active Directory, and email services.

  • Network & Infrastructure

    • Configure and maintain network hardware including switches, firewalls, and routers supporting telephony traffic.

    • Manage QoS policies to prioritize voice traffic and minimize jitter, packet loss, and latency.

    • Support VPN tunnels and secure interconnects between SIM box nodes and core infrastructure.

    • Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, and other endpoint devices.


Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience

    • Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations or system administration roles.

    • 2+ years of focused experience with telephony systems, SIM box platforms, or VoIP infrastructure.

  • Telephony & Telecom Skills

    • Deep expertise with SIM box hardware (GoIP, VoIP GSM gateways) and SIM management software.

    • Strong knowledge of SIP protocol, SIP trunk configuration, and VoIP call flows.

    • Hands-on experience with PBX platforms such as Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, or Kamailio.

    • Understanding of GSM/4G/LTE network fundamentals, MSISDN management, and operator interconnect.

    • Experience with A2P SMS routing, number masking, and OTP delivery infrastructure.

    • Familiarity with CDR (Call Detail Records) analysis and billing reconciliation.

    • Knowledge of telecom fraud patterns (SIM swap, toll fraud, CLI spoofing) and mitigation strategies.

  • General IT Skills

    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.

    • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.

    • Working knowledge of network configuration (switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs).

    • Experience supporting both on-site and remote users across multiple geographies.

    • Familiarity with Jira Service Management and Confluence or similar ITSM/documentation tools.
