Got a Skyro loan? Great.
Now what if you could skip the interest entirely? That’s what the Skyro Zero Plan is for. If you pay off your full loan early, you can keep your Skyro loan interest-free. Simple, no tricks. Just pay in full during your Zero Period and enjoy the benefits.
Want to know how it works? We’ve got all the answers below.
What is the Skyro Zero Plan?
The Skyro Zero Plan gives you a chance to enjoy 0% interest at the start of your loan. If you pay your full loan, including all fees and value-added services (but not interest), before the Zero Period ends, you won’t be charged any interest at all.
If you don’t finish paying in time, your loan will simply continue with interest based on your original payment schedule.
What is Zero Period?
The Zero Period is the first 3 or 6 installment periods of your loan where no interest is charged. It’s your window to fully pay off the loan and stay completely interest-free.
How do I activate the Skyro Zero Plan?
There’s no extra step to activate it! If your loan qualifies, the Zero Plan is automatically included. You’ll see this in your loan agreement and in the email that we’ll send you.
To make the most of it, just remember: pay your full loan during the Zero Period to enjoy 0% interest.
What do I have to do to stay on the Skyro Zero Plan?
To enjoy 0% interest, you need to pay your full loan before the Zero Period ends. Here’s what that includes:
You can pay in full through the Skyro app or by contacting Customer Care.
Keep in mind: the amount you need to pay to complete your loan during the Zero Period is usually higher than your monthly payment shown in the schedule. That’s because you’re settling the full balance early, not just following the regular monthly plan.
So when you're ready to make that full payment, just reach out to Customer Care so we can guide you through it.
Here’s a sample computation:
Let’s say your financed amount is ₱10,000. You have two ways to pay it off under the Zero Plan with 0% interest:
Option 1: You divide the ₱10,000 equally across 3 months — that’s ₱3,333 per month. By the end of the 3rd month, you’ve fully paid your loan with no interest.
Option 2: You pay smaller monthly amounts at first — ₱1,964 in month 1 and month 2 — then pay the remaining ₱6,072 in month 3 to complete the loan. Still 0% interest, just a different way of splitting payments.
If you don’t complete your loan within the Zero Period, you’ll go into the regular loan payment plan with 4.9% interest. In that case, you’ll pay ₱1,964 monthly for 6 months, and your total repayment will be ₱11,783 — which includes interest.
Note: This is only a sample. Your final amount may vary depending on your loan terms. Please refer to your loan agreement or contact Skyro Customer Care to confirm your exact Zero Plan amounts.
How long is the Zero Period?
The length of your Skyro Zero Period depends on the price of the item and the loan term you choose:
Can I pay partially during the Zero Period?
Yes, you can pay monthly during the Zero Period, just follow the amount shown in your payment schedule. You’ll see it in your loan agreement.
But to enjoy 0% interest, you need to pay your full loan before the Zero Period ends.
What happens if I don’t finish paying during the Zero Period?
That’s okay. You’ll simply continue with your regular loan and pay interest as originally scheduled in your loan agreement. Your repayment schedule stays the same, and interest will apply from the start of your loan, just like in a regular Skyro product loan.
Will I see the Zero Plan in my loan agreement or app?
Yes. Your loan agreement will mention that your loan includes the Zero Plan.
In the Skyro app, you’ll see your regular repayment schedule — this includes interest, as if you're paying monthly over time. If you want to stay interest-free, just remember: pay your full loan amount during the Zero Period.
You’ll receive reminders with the exact amount you still need to pay to complete your loan within the Zero Period.
How do I compute the monthly payment to fit in the Zero Period?
There are a couple of ways to do it:
You can increase your monthly payments (equally or not) to make sure you fully repay the loan within the Zero Period.
Or you can follow your regular monthly payments based on your loan agreement and then pay the remaining balance in one go before the Zero Period ends.
To know exactly how much is left, you can check the Skyro app or contact Customer Care, we'll guide you through the full amount you need to complete.
What if I change my loan term using Flexi?
Even if you adjust your loan term using Flexi, your Zero Period stays the same.
So even if your new term is shorter, you’ll still need to pay your entire loan in full before the original Zero Period ends to stay interest-free. Otherwise, interest will apply based on your loan agreement.
Example: If your Zero Period ends on August 1, but you use Skyro Flexi and move your next due date to August 16, your Zero Period also moves to August 16. So you still have a chance to keep it zero, just settle the full amount before the new date.
Will I get reminders?
Yes! Skyro will send you helpful reminders during your Zero Period, including the exact amount you still need to pay to fully settle your loan and stay interest-free. This helps you stay on track and make the most of your Zero Plan.
How will I know if I'm done with my Skyro Zero Plan?
We’ll let you know through the Skyro app once you’ve paid your loan in full during the Zero Period. You’ll also see that your loan balance is now ₱0 — that means you’ve fully paid off your loan without any interest. Congrats!
