Responsibilities:
Assist in ensuring the Company’s compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and regulatory issuances relevant to financing companies
Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory reports, disclosures, and responses to regulatory inquiries
Maintain compliance calendars and monitor regulatory deadlines and requirements
Coordinate with internal departments and external parties for compliance-related matters
Policies, Procedures, and Compliance Program Support
Assist in drafting, reviewing, updating, and implementing compliance policies, manuals, and procedures
Support compliance training and awareness programs for employees
Conduct compliance testing and reviews to assess adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and established controls
Assist in developing compliance testing plans, scopes, and methodologies
Document testing procedures, findings, and results, and prepare compliance testing reports
Monitor and follow up on remediation plans and corrective actions arising from compliance testing
Conduct compliance-related research and prepare summaries, reports, or memoranda
Assist in internal audits, risk assessments, and regulatory examinations
Maintain organized and complete compliance records and documentation
Perform other compliance-related duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Legal Management, Economics, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in all-around compliance, risk management, audit, or a related role in a financing, banking, or financial services institution
Has working knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to financing or financial services companies in the Philippines
Has strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Has experience in compliance testing, internal audit, or control testing
Familiar with AML/CFT, consumer protection, or regulatory compliance frameworks
Has strong attention to detail and accuracy and with ability to manage multiple compliance tasks and priorities
Has analytical and problem-solving skills and possesses clear written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and discretion
Able to work independently and work effectively with cross-functional teams
