Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the company's SEC-registered Associated Person, providing supervisory oversight to salesmen, traders, agents, officers, employees, and stockholders.
Lead and maintain an independent compliance function, reporting directly to the Board of Directors and President.
Develop, maintain, and implement the company's Written Supervisory Procedures (WSP).
Monitor and document material compliance issues and maintain the required compliance logbook.
Prepare and submit required quarterly Compliance Reports to CMIC and the annual compliance certification.
Oversee the company's Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MTPP), including AML/CFT monitoring, escalation, and regulatory reporting.
Develop and conduct internal compliance and regulatory training for employees, agents, and salesmen.
Serve as the primary compliance contact for the SEC, CMIC, PSE, and SCCP.
Support the company's broker-dealer license application and PSE Trading Participant admission process.
Provide compliance guidance to management and relevant teams on securities regulations and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Filipino citizen with a valid Philippine National ID (PhilSys).
At least 21 years old.
Currently SEC-registered Associated Person of a Philippine broker-dealer, or fully eligible to register as one.
Completed the required SEC Associated Person certification seminars and passed the SEC Associated Persons Certification Examination within the last 3 years; or
Has at least 3 years of experience as a registered Associated Person in the Philippines.
Strong knowledge of the Securities Regulation Code, its 2015 Implementing Rules and Regulations, CMIC rules, and SEC AML/CFT guidelines.
Experience managing or establishing an independent compliance function.
Strong understanding of securities compliance, regulatory reporting, supervision, and AML/CFT requirements.
Able to work independently and communicate effectively with senior management, the Board, and regulatory bodies.
Must have a clean professional and regulatory record, with no applicable disciplinary sanctions, SEC suspension, or disqualification under Section 29 of the Securities Regulation Code.
