Job Description:

Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple systems and platforms.

Investigate and resolve transaction mismatches, discrepancies, and system variances.

Coordinate with Finance, Product, IT, and Payment Service Providers to address data issues and process gaps.

Prepare accurate reconciliation reports and support month-end closing activities.

Identify opportunities to improve and automate reconciliation processes and workflows.

Support the implementation and maintenance of reconciliation controls and procedures.

Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Experience in financial reconciliation, payment operations, accounting, or finance operations

Strong understanding of transaction reconciliation and settlement processes

Experience working with multiple systems, payment gateways, banks, or financial platforms

Ability to investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, variances, and exceptions

Strong Excel skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

Ability to work accurately with high-volume transactions

Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance, Product, IT, and Payment Service Providers

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in FinTech, payments, e-commerce, lending, or financial services

Experience with reconciliation automation

Experience supporting month-end closing and financial reporting

Knowledge of payment gateway settlements, fees, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, and disbursements

Experience in improving or designing reconciliation processes and controls
