Role Overview
At Skyro, the IT Operations plays a hands-on role in keeping our technology running smoothly as the company scales. You’ll be the go-to person for supporting employees, managing core systems and access, and maintaining our cloud, network, and endpoint environments. This role works closely with teams across the business to quickly resolve issues, roll out improvements, and support new tools and processes.
Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role (preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and email platforms (Exchange or similar)
• User account, role, and permission management
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
• Support for on-site and remote users, servers, systems, and network infrastructure
• Working knowledge of networking (switches, firewalls) and end-user devices
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Jira Service Management or Confluence
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to new technologies
Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to on-site and remote users, ensuring timely resolution of issues
• Monitor systems and services, troubleshoot incidents, and escalate when necessary
• Support system updates, upgrades, and IT projects while maintaining performance, security, and reliability
• Manage and support Microsoft Azure and Active Directory environments
• Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions
• Configure and troubleshoot email services and related integrations
• Support network infrastructure, firewalls, and connectivity issues
• Ensure system availability, data integrity, and operational continuity
• Use Jira Service Management, Confluence, and similar tools to track issues and document processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay current with emerging technologies
